Lansurf CO40

Castor Oil Ethoxylate

INCI Name: PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil

Quick Links

Lansurf CO40 is a high‑performance nonionic surfactant produced by the ethoxylation of castor oil, incorporating 40 moles of ethylene oxide. It is supplied as a clear yellow liquid, fully soluble in water, and is widely used in industrial, agricultural, and textile formulations due to its excellent emulsification, wetting, detergency, and lubricity. It also
benefits from low toxicity and food‑contact approval, making it suitable for sensitive applications.

Key Features

  • Excellent emulsification and wetting for stable formulations and effective surface coverage.

  • Low toxicity with food‑contact approval, making it suitable for sensitive applications.

  • High lubricity and versatile functionality across textiles, agrochemicals, and industrial systems.

Applications

Textile Industry
- Used as a fiber lubricant with good detergency in textile processing and finishing.

Agrochemical Formulations

- Functions as a co‑emulsifier in balance‑pair emulsifier systems for EC and EW pesticide formulations.
- Provides excellent wetting and stable emulsification on plant surfaces.

Phenolic Foam Production
- Acts as a foaming agent in phenolic foam systems, helping generate uniform cell structure.

Industrial & Chemical Processing
- Used as a surfactant, foaming agent, lubricant, and emulsifier across various chemical manufacturing and material‑processing applications.
