Kemsurf ASC

Kemsurf ASC is an anionic surfactant based on sodium laureth‑2 sulphate, manufactured from a natural C12‑14 alcohol that is ethoxylated and sulphated before neutralisation to form the sodium salt. It provides effective foaming, wetting, and detergency, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and personal‑care applications.

Kemsurf ASC offers good stability in the presence of high electrolyte levels and hard water, helping to maintain consistent performance in demanding formulation systems. It delivers reliable surface activity, supporting efficient soil removal, wetting, and foam generation across a variety of cleaning applications.

The product is compatible with a broad range of formulation types and performs well in mildly alkaline environments. It is widely used in liquid hand soaps, shampoos, detergents, textile auxiliaries, and emulsion polymerisation systems where dependable foaming and cleaning performance are required. As with other ether sulphates, it may hydrolyse under strongly acidic conditions.
