Lansurf OA14

Product Category: Nonionics

Oleic Acid + 14EO (PEG600 MonoOleate)

Quick Links

Lansurf OA14 is a nonionic surfactant produced by ethoxylating oleic acid with approximately 14 moles of ethylene oxide. It exhibits excellent emulsifying, wetting, and solubilising properties and demonstrates broad compatibility with nonionic, anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants. Lansurf OA14 is commonly used in high-HLB
emulsions, detergents, and formulations requiring superior solubilisation and dispersion, particularly in systems where enhanced hydrophilicity is desired.

Applications

Personal Care & Cosmetics
- Emulsifier and solubilizer in creams, lotions, shampoos, and conditioners.
- Ideal for oil-in-water emulsions requiring high HLB.

Detergents & Industrial Cleaners
- Effective in liquid detergents, hard-surface cleaners, and degreasers.
- Provides strong emulsification for oils and fats.

Agriculture
- Emulsifier in emulsifiable concentrates (ECs) for pesticides and herbicides.
- Enhances spreading and wetting on plant surfaces.

Paints, Coatings & Inks
- Dispersing agent for pigments and fillers.
- Improves flow, leveling, and stability in waterborne systems.

Metalworking Fluids
- Component in emulsifiable oils for lubrication and cooling.
- Maintains emulsion stability and corrosion protection.

Polymer & Adhesives
- Emulsifier in polymer emulsions and adhesive formulations.
- Assists in particle stabilisation during polymerisation.
