Bathroom Cleaner Formulations

Bathroom cleaners are produced in a range of formulations depending on the use, bath and tile cleaners, mould stain removers, limescale/rust removers, alkaline general purpose cleaners, these products are commonly formulated as ready to use sprays. Lankem offers a series of nonionic surfactants ideal for the use in formulations of a wide range of bathroom cleaners.
 

 
The following formulations give superior performance in these applications:

Charge the water followed by the citric acid, when fully dissolved charge the Lansurf CAO then mix until homogeneous. Spray the product onto soiled surfaces and allow to stand for 1-2 minutes, wipe off with a damp cloth or sponge before rinsing with water.

Charge the water followed by the sodium hydroxide solution and sodium metasilicate, when fully dissolved charge the Lansurf CAO followed by the sodium hypochlorite solution then mix until homogeneous. Spray the product onto the mould stained area and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes, wipe off with a damp cloth or sponge before rinsing with water.

Charge the water followed by the Lansurf CAO, then charge the phosphoric acid, mix until homogeneous. Whilst wearing gloves wipe the affected area with the product and rinse thoroughly with water, you can treat any heavier build-ups with the neat product. This product should not be used on marble, stone, terrazzo, metal or painted surfaces.

Charge the water and dissolve the sodium carbonate, then charge the Lansurf CAO and propylene glycol n-butyl ether, with good agitation dissolve the Lansurf AE109W. When homogeneous add fragrance and preservative as you require. To use the spray on soiled surfaces, allow to stand for 1-2 minutes before wiping off with a damp cloth or sponge before rinsing with water.
